Dear Jerome School District Families,

Good News! Jerome School District has moved back into the Green Category after our number of positive Covid-19 cases decreased dramatically for two weeks in a row. Thank you for working with us as we strive to keep our schools open for in-person learning!

We appreciate the many efforts that were made by parents, staff, and students to help get our Covid-19 numbers under control. We so appreciate parents who keep students at home when they are not feeling well, the many staff members who have been vaccinated, all those who voluntarily wear masks, being conscious of social distancing, the extra sanitization efforts by
our maintenance crew, and washing hands often!

Keep up the good work! Parents can see the current district Covid-19 numbers and protocols for the different color levels on our website.  It is important for parents, students, and school staff to all work together to help us keep our schools open.

The single most important strategy is to continue to keep students at home when they are sick and we ask parents to please not send students to school when they are not feeling well! Students can return to school once they are 24 hours fever free without fever reducing
medication and other symptoms improving. If they have recently been exposed to a known case of Covid-19 outside of school, students should quarantine for 10 days if unvaccinated and 7 days if vaccinated.

Symptoms can be found on the CDC website at:

Thanks again for working as part of our team and doing your part to help keep our schools and community a healthy place for our students.
